1989 - Aston Jitsu Club founded by Sensei Milan Ilic, 1st Kyu.
1990 - Sensei Dave Manwaring, 1st Kyu, takes over. Aston Jitsu is his first club.
1992 - Sensei Dave Manwaring grades to shodan, continues to teach at Aston Jitsu, whilst founding Wolverhampton University Jitsu Club.
1994 - Sensei Chris Wong takes over teaching at Aston Jitsu.
1996 - Sensei Richard Bartholomew and Sensei Suzanne McKenzie teach at Aston Jitsu (both 1st Kyu).
1997 - Sensei Richard Carter (1st Kyu, from UCE Jitsu Club) joins Aston Jitsu. Sensei McKenzie leads the club.
1998 - Sensei Richard Carter takes over teaching at Aston.
1999 - Sensei Richard Carter grades to shodan, takes over teaching at University College Worcester Jitsu Club.
1999 - Sensei Eric Lau (1st Kyu, from UCE Jitsu Club) takes over teaching at Aston Jitsu.
2001 - Sensei Eric Lau grades to shodan and continues to teach at Aston Jitsu.
2002 – Sensei Paul Glebioska grades to 1st Kyu and takes over teaching at UCE Jitsu club.
2003 – Sensei Eric Lau grades to Senior Primary and continues to lead at Aston Jitsu.
2002 - Sensei James Blackham grades to 1st Kyu.
2004 - Sensei Eric Lau establishes Birmingham City Junior Jitsu Club.
2004 – Sensei Irfan Badkashi grades to 1st Kyu and establishes Birmingham College of Food Jitsu Club.
2004 – Sensei Rob Whiskens grades to 1st Kyu and establishes Matthew Boulton Jitsu Club.
2005 – Sensei Eric Lau grades to Nidan and continues to lead Aston Jitsu.
2005 – Sensei Eric Lau wins the Open Atemi Nationals.
2005 – Sensei James Blackham takes over teaching Birmingham City Junior Jitsu Club.
2005 – Sensei Luke Mulekezi takes over teaching Birmingham City Junior Jitsu Club.
2007 – Sensei James Blackham grades to shodan.
2007 – Sensei Rob Whiskens grades to shodan.
2007 - Sensei James Owen receives his hakama and takes over teaching at University of Birmingham Jitsu Club.
2007 - Sensei Rob Whiskens establishes a new club at St Benedict's Jitsu Club.
2007 - Sensei Stuart Jefferies receives his hakama and opens a new club at Erdington Jitsu Club.
2007 - Sensei Howard Douglas establishes a new club at Nechells Green Jitsu Club.
2007 - Sensei Eric Lau is promoted Secondary and continues to lead Aston Jitsu.
2008 - Sensei Manjeet Sandhu receives his hakama and takes over Birmingham City University Jitsu Club.
2008 - Sensei Paul Glebioska returns to Aston Jitsu to share the teaching with Sensei Eric Lau.
